The Barkly region begins 200 kilometers North of Alice Springs around Barrow Creek. Within the Barkly there are over 30 Aboriginal language groups represented by many organisations that provide services and resources for the community.

This site offers a place to learn about Aboriginal culture, see the various aspects of Aboriginal life, and explore the attractions of the Barkly.

Whether you are planning a trip to Tennant Creek, or are simply interested in learning more about the Aboriginal way of life we hope you will find this site both informative and rewarding.
